Holidays were never as interesting as this December’s. I set myself a new challenge by finding myself a job. It was my first time stepping inside a office and becoming one of their temporary staffs.
First day of work was relaxing and enjoyable, all i had to do is to photocopy and sort documents. It was boring and dull but my colleagues were enjoyable and treated me very good. During my work, i met into obstacles. I have to learn how to read maps from the street directory book, something that I do not know anything about it. I had to run errands for my company. It took me a lot of time before I reached the destination. I met into problems when running errands, such as non-cooperative and demanding clients. Sweet and fluent talking is definitely needed in this job.
It was hard, but i still manage to overcome the odds. After my work days have finished, it was 2 days before the orientation camp. When I arrived at Chong Boon Secondary, i was excited as i saw a big group of active sec 1 impatiently waiting for the camp to start. I was ready to prepare them the most enjoyable camp they can possibly imagine. It was the first day and I have not much regrets as those children were not as mischievous as I thought. 2nd day was even more exciting then the 1st day. We had camp fire and we shouted we had no voice. I can’t wait for the next orientation camp to come.
